I am the founder of EOS Photographer, an online educational platform for Canon creators. The platform is fueled by a photography podcast and offers online training and coaching on photography and gear-specific topics.
Most recently, I led Canon Live Learning, Canon USA's photography workshop program. That meant planning, developing, implementing, and marketing all Canon workshops, classes, and other educational or engagement activities throughout the country.
I launched the entrepreneurial phase of my life in 2010, with PhotoTour DC, a business that taught photography on walking workshops around Washington, DC's picturesque locations. I then launched Shutterbug Life, an online photography community that featured a weekly podcast, monthly webinars, and an online photography coaching club.
In college, I chose a double major of public relations and photojournalism. PR became my primary discipline for most of my career. As a photographer, telling stories appeals to me. I love finding people, learning what makes them interesting, and capturing it with my pen and lens. An eight-year stint as an Army Reserve photojournalist also nurtured that inclination.
Today, my mission is to educate and inspire the next generation of Canon creatives.
